The X-Factor team works and
trains from a once-abandoned military
complex in the Santa
Cruz mountains
in California. It was decommissioned in the late 90s and re-fitted for X-Factor use in late
2007. As a part of this re-fitting, several buildings were gutted and
upgraded. Underground tunnels were dug to connect most areas of the
base, and a new Administration Building, home to Titan Enterprises,
was built. Most members of the team live on-base, in updated apartments which were originally provided for members of the military who had families. For those who have friends or relations outside the team, it is understood that they are not invited onto the base. Dinner parties can be held elsewhere. |

The base, codenamed ‘Old
Home’ by team members, sits a few miles
from the small town of Chemeketa Park and a short distance from
Lexington
Reservoir. The base is sheltered by the wild, forested
foothills that rise around it. The city of Los Gatos is just ten minutes away, with San Jose, Santa Cruz, even San Francisco nearby.
