X-Men Movieverse: X-Factor
In 1950, mutants were a secret whisper, a rumor scoffed at in polite company and believed only by the superstitous. In 1990, mutants were a scientific reality, skyrocketed into fame by Moira McTaggart and the X-factor. In 2000, mutants were a visible minority and a growing concern for families across the United States. In 2001, mutants were terrorists.
In 2009, they are secret heroes.
Welcome to XMM: XF!
We are a real-time, text-based roleplay game based in the world of the X-Men movies and focused on a secret government organization known (to those who know) as 'X-Factor'.
We opened in 2001, and were set in New York City and
focused strictly upon the stories of ordinary citizens struggling to
reconcile themselves to the existence of mutants in their midst.
In January of 2009, we shifted our attention to the stories of
those who are committed to fighting for a better world for everyone.
X-Men Movieverse: X-Factor is the result.
XMM: XF is a thriving community of players who enjoy the 'realistic' feel of the X-Men movieverse and telling stories together. Our emphasis is on plot and character, and we're always looking for others who are interested in playing with us! Please, take a look around, drop us a line on our forum, or connect and have a look at the game. We look forward to seeing you!
